Christmas Party

We had a wonderful time at our Christmas party and enjoyed our visit from Father Christmas.  Thank you very much  for all the lovely presents and cards, we wish you all a very happy christmas and will see you in the new year!

Happy Christmas from all at Roundabout!

Tomorrow (Thursday 18th December) is our last day of term.  We hope to see you all at the Preschool party 11-1pm in the school hall on Friday 19th December.


Week beginning 15th December 2014

This week the Penguins and the snow have arrived at Pre-school!

The activity’s this week include:  writing letters to Santa, making a Reindeer, playing with magnets, pixie robot, music session, making Reindeer biscuits.

In the sand we’re making ice creams, in the water we are playing with mugs and jugs.

There will be no friday sessions this week, the Christmas party is in the school hall on friday 11am to 1pm.

Week beginning 8th December 2014

This week the Gruffalo’s child is at preschool!

This weeks activities include: making Christmas cards, playing Kim’s game, making Christmas Trees,  music session, playing board games and making Angels.

In the sand this week we are making ice creams and in the water we have building blocks.

Christmas Concert tomorrow (Friday 5th Dec’ 2014)

Don’t forget the Christmas Concert tomorrow at 11am in the Primary school hall.

Any children not in Friday morning’s session need to be at pre-school by 10.30am

If your child normally attends Friday afternoon’s session but you will be taking them home after the concert please inform a member of staff before you leave.

Week beginning 1st December 2014

This week we’ll be making preschool look ‘Christmassy’.  We have a Christmas tree that the children can decorate and the nativity scene on the interest table.

In the water we are sorting and in the sand we’re playing with farm animals.

Activities this week include:  shaving foam, sound games, concert practice, snowflakes, texture trays and describe and find it.
