As you may be aware, we are talking about different types of weather this half term and the children are helping us to make a new display to go across the central beam in the cabin. Last week, they made a beautiful sun with hand print rays and some textured suns made out of spaghetti and rice that they had dyed yellow. We also have some photographs of our visit to the school field when we explored how our shadows appeared when it’s sunny!
This morning, we have continued our display with a rain cloud which has been beautifully decorated with cotton wool, glitter and all sorts of sparkles. In the afternoon we made some painted / glittery rain drops to fall from the cloud, these will also be added to the display when they have dried out!
