This week we are looking at and talking about ‘wheeled toys’. In the water we can play with the water wheels and in the sand we can go bug hunting.
The activities this week will include: group P.E. session, small world play with dressing up, woodland play, using the recording pegs, playing with big mops in the garden, rhyming games, group music session, making straw necklaces, playing with Pixie robot and making wheel prints.
Today we decorated some biscuits and covered them in colourful sprinkles and sparkles to make them look like fireworks exploding in the sky! We had a lovely chat about how many people will be visiting the Firework display at the Leisure Centre this weekend, you will no doubt see some of the staff there too!
This afternoon the children made ‘snips’ in the end of a toilet roll middle then used them to print on some paper to make Firework pictures, a little bit of glitter was sprinkled too!
Using our pumpkins to practise our hammering skills today!
