We enjoyed some pancakes for our snack this morning, yummy!
This afternoon we went on a Bear hunt in the forest. The children seemed to enjoy reading the story outside and acting out the different parts of the story, joining in with some of the phrases.
This week we are counting and looking at items of clothing. In the water we can play with the sea creatures and in the sand we can find and make our names with the letter moulds.
This week the activities will include: zip lock paint bags, going on a Bear hunt in the forest, pancakes, sensory room, muddy welly pictures in the garden, pairing and counting socks, world book day – sharing books, using the Flip camera, seed collage and making life sized pictures.
Thank you to everyone who has returned the ‘Twos Count here!’ questionnaire. It’s not too late to email us any comments that can help us improve! This is the perfect time to tell us what we can improve – we need to collate all our answers very soon! Thank you everyone!
This morning we had the laptop out and played some games using the mouse.
This afternoon we used some ‘wellies’ and some bright colours to make some pictures.
This afternoon we had a small collection of figures for the children to draw, they looked very carefully at which colours they would need and made some lovely pictures.
Welcome back, we hope you all had a lovely half-term holiday. This term we will be doing a lot of counting and recognising numbers. On the interest table we have lots of different types of vehicle and the numbers 1-10. In the water we can play with the water wheels and in the sand we have the ‘Roundabout Ice Cream Shop’.
This week the activities will include: making some displays, still life drawing/painting, using Pixie robot, Lumiglow board, welly printing, shaving foam with vehicles, making paper aeroplanes, using the laptop and exploring the large sensory tray.
We hope you all enjoy the half term holiday and look forward to seeing you all again on Monday 20th February 2017.
This morning we walked to the Post Office to post some more of the letters/pictures the children have made for their family and friends.
Thank you very much to our volunteers who came to help.
