Fun in the toothpaste!

Today we spent a long time in the garden – we had fun dancing to the music that we could hear from the Primary School’s sports day and the children have been looking out for people they know who might be watching the races! We also had a tray which we covered in minty toothpaste. We talked about the smell and the texture and did lots of writing and drawing as we played.

The Dental Nurse came to visit today

This morning, we had the Dental Nurse come to visit, she talked to us about how to brush our teeth.  The children showed her how well they can open their mouths and we then had some volunteers to become a ‘Dentist, Dental Nurse and patient’!  We talked about some good foods and drinks to have to keep our teeth healthy and learnt a song, you might like to sing it with them ……!

(sung to the tune of the wheels on the bus)
The toothbrush on the teeth goes round and round.
Round and round, round and round.
The toothbrush on the teeth goes round and round,
for two minutes long!
