As some of you may be aware, Heidi Allard, our treasurer for the past two years, is stepping down from her role. We are all most grateful for her superb contribution during her period in office.
This leaves a vacancy for the post of treasurer on our committee. The committee consists of 15 volunteers, and the treasurer is a valued member of the team. The role of treasurer includes counting money, paying invoices, collecting fees, banking funds and even counting ducks! All of the committee are very willing to support and guide a new treasurer.
Over the past year the committee has run a number of fundraising events, including the popular duck race, assisted with the summer and winter fairs’, as well as working closely with the members of staff to provide the best support and facilities for our children.
If you are interested in the role of treasurer, or wish to know more about the role, please do not hesitate to speak to the Chairperson Dylan Hearn, current Treasurer Heidi Allard, or Pre-school leader Pip Long.
May I take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Chair, on behalf of the Pre-school committee

Our last week at Pre-school before the Christmas holiday!! This week we’ll be very Christmassy, listening to and singing lots of Christmas songs. In the water we can catch some stars in the sparkles, in the sand we’re playing with Old MacDonalds farm.
The activities this week include: party games, glittery goop, making Christmas biscuits, making Christmas angels, candy cane ball prints and playing an animal sound game.
There will be no sessions at Pre-school on Friday (18th) but our Christmas party will be held in the school hall at 11am (Friday 18th).
Well done to all the ‘little stars’ in our Christmas concert today! The staff were so proud of them all, we have had a lot of fun preparing for the event and the children have tried really hard to learn lots of new songs! We hope you all enjoyed the show as much as we did.
A big thank you to everyone who helped out, eg helping put the costumes on, walking the group over the play ground, supporting the staff at the benches, bringing in mince pies, helping to make and serve teas and coffees, setting up / clearing away and of course … washing up! We are very grateful for all your hard work!

Just a reminder that our Christmas Concert is tomorrow in the Primary School hall at 11am. The children have been practising their songs very well, see you all there.
