Thank you and goodbye

tulips

Dear Friends,

Thank you all so much for the lovely gifts! They were absolutely perfect as was the wonderful tea party on Saturday.

It has been my great pleasure to have worked as the leader of Roundabout for the last 19 years and I will be very sad to say goodbye.

However, I’m leaving with many happy memories of my time with you and wish you all the very best.

With love and many thanks,

Fiona xx

Week beginning 20th July 2015

In the last three days of the summer term, we’ll be building in the garden with the bricks, playing with water wheels in the water tray and using our aquaplay in the garden.

The activities will include: P.E. session, making labels for our toys using the camera, making animal footprints, playing silly soup, having a music session and playing some party games.

Go wheelies have arrived!!

Using some more money raised at the duck race we have bought two ‘go wheelies’.  These can be used to walk and run around the garden with and to make marks with by dipping them in water.

Ofsted Inspection

Dear Parents/Carers

You may or may not be aware that we recently had an Inspection from Ofsted, who regulate services that care for children.  We are absolutely thrilled to tell you that our pre-school continues to be recognised as Outstanding following this last inspection!

The Inspector spent the day with us, observing staff, the activities in place and our interaction with the children.  The findings acknowledged that the quality of teaching is exceptional and children are offered highly exciting, stimulating and purposeful learning opportunities.

We believe very strongly that the Outstanding judgement also extends to all the committee and parents within our pre-school community.   The Inspector recognised that parents play an active role in settling their children in to pre-school and the committee is effective and proactive.

We value and appreciate all your on-going commitment and support to help provide exemplary quality education and care for the children within our local community.

If you would like to see a copy of the report, you may read it online at: http://reports.ofsted.gov.uk/ and our registration number is EY362395.   Or, if you would like a paper copy, then please do ask any of the staff.

With our thanks, congratulations and best wishes to you all.

Fiona, Kath, Pip, Jo, Beccy and Jane.
